This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project which

appeared in United Nations Development Business (UNDB) Issue No. WB - P890351-12/21 dated

14 December, 2021and the National e-Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST) dated 26/05/2023.

1.The TARURA - KIGOMA REGIONAL OFFICE has received CREDIT from the World Bank

towards the cost of the Lot 2 - Construction And Gravelling Along Kibirizi - Kalalangabo 2.5km

Road, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for

CONSTRUCTION AND GRAVELLING ALONG KIBIRIZI - KALALANGABO 2.5KM ROAD.

2.The TARURA - KIGOMA REGIONAL OFFICE now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for

3.Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering as specified in the World Bank’s

“Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” fourth edition, November 2020 as well as the Public

Procurement Act, CAP 410, and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4.Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from TARURA - KIGOMA REGIONAL OFFICE, Levin

Paul, P.o.Box 140 Kigoma and inspect the bidding document through NeST.

5.A complete set of bidding document(s) in ENGLISH may be accessed through NeST freely. On Bid submission

bidder shall be required to finalize payment of a non-refundable fee of The Tanzanian Shilling30,000 or freely

convertible currency amount. NeST payment user guide is made available in the NeST dashboard.

6.Bids must be submitted electronically through NeST on or before 11:00 AM hours local time on 29/12/2023.

Bid(s) will be opened promptly thereafter through NeST. Bid opening details will be available to

the through NeST.

7.All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Bidding Documents.

8.Bids not received or opened through NeST shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the

circumstances.
