The Government of Malawi has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Skills for a Vibrant Economy (SAVE) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of OdeL Centre at Nalikule College of Education (NCE) in Lilongwe.

• Nalikule College of Education now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction of Odel Centre at Nalikule College of Education campus in Lilongwe. The estimated construction period is 9 months.

• Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) Procurement procedures using a Request for Bids (RFB), and is open to all eligible Bidders.

• A Pre-Bid meeting shall take place:

• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Nalikule College of Education, Procurement and Disposal Unit, Email: [email protected] or [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 08.30 Hrs to 16.00 Hrs at the address given below.

• The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below (7a) and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of MK50,000.00. The method of payment will be cash paid to Nalikule College of Education Account no. 0004704001020, First Capital Bank, City Centre branch. The document will be sent by email or collected physically by the bidder.

• Bids must be delivered to the address below (7b) on or before 31st July 2025. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below (7c) on 31st July 2025 at 10:00 Hrs.

• All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Security of MK40,000,000.00. The Bid Security shall be submitted using the Bid Security Form included in Section IV of the Request for Bids (RFB) document.
