| 1 | Construction of Service Reservoirs, Solar Power Plants and Upgrading of Pumping Stations in Blantyre | 18 Months | Blantyre District, Malawi• Bidding will be conducted through International competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” dated February 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.• Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation process set out in the bidding documents. The following weightings shall apply for Rated Criteria (including technical and non-price factors): 25% and for Bid cost: 75%.• Interested eligible Bidders will be required to attend a mandatory pre- bid meeting and site inspection which will take place on 24th November 2025 from 9.00 hours CAT at the address given below Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Chairperson, Internal Procurement and Disposal of Assets Committee Blantyre Water Board, P.O. Box 30369, Chichiri, Blantyre 3, Malawi, Email: [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours [07:30 to 16:30 hours cat] at the address given below.• The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of US$200.00 The method of payment will be Direct deposit into Procuring Entity account.• Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 23rd December 2025 at 09.00 Hours Local Time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The outer Bid envelopes marked “ORIGINAL BID”, and the inner envelopes marked “TECHNICAL PART” will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 23rd December 2025 at 09.00 Hours Local Time.
