This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. [insert number] of 12TH NOVEMBER 2012 2. The SWAZILAND GOVERNMENT has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of SWAZILAND LOCAL GOVERNMENT PROJECT and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for the CONSTRUCTION OF SOUTHERN DISTRIBUTOR ROAD EXTENSION THROUGH SPRINGLE FARM IN NGWANE PARK, MANZINI - MANZINI/SLGP/WKS/001/2017.

  • The Municipal Council of Manzini now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for THE CONSTRUCTION OF SOUTHERN DISTRIBUTOR ROAD EXTENSION THROUGH SPRINGLE FARM IN NGWANE PARK. The delivery/construction period is 180 DAYS/ SIX MONTHS 4.

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents.5 5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Municipal Council of Manzini, Mr. Bonginkosi Simelane, bonginkosis@mazcitycouncil.sz carbon copy to cteng@mzcitycouncil.sz and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below: Municipal Council of Manzini Civic Offices Ngwane/ Nkoseluhlaza Manzini From 0800 hrs. to 1500 hrs. local time (Working Days).

  • Qualifications requirements include: (a) Copies of original documents defining the constitution or legal status, place of registration, and principal place of business of the Bidder; written power of attorney of the signatory of the Bid to commit the Bidder; (b) Total monetary value of construction works performed for each of the last five years; (c) Experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years, and details of work under way or contractually committed; and clients who may be contacted for further information on those contracts; (d) Major items of construction equipment proposed to carry out the Contract; (e) Qualifications and experience of key site management and technical personnel proposed for the Contract; (f) Reports on the financial standing of the Bidder, such as profit and loss statements and auditor’s reports for the past five years; (g) Evidence of adequacy of working capital for this Contract (access to line(s) of credit and availability of other financial resources); (h) Information regarding any litigation, current or during the last five years, in which the Bidder was/is involved, the parties concerned, and the disputed amounts; and awards; (i) Proof of Registration with the Construction Industry Council (CIC) under Category C1 or C2 (j) Valid Tax Clearance Certificate (k) Valid Trading License. (l) Valid Labour Compliance Certificate (m) Form J A margin of preference for eligible national contractors/joint ventures shall not be applied.
  • A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee7 E500. The method of payment will be cash.

The Bidding Documents should be collected at the Treasurer’s Office after payment. 8. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 22nd February 2018. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted.

Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person or on-line at the address below at the Council Chambers, Municipal Council of Mbabane at 12Noon Local time on 22nd February 2018. 9 All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of E10, 000.00 10.
