Specialist for Review of the revised literacy curricula, TLMs for STD 1- 3 as well as the P-class curricula and learning materials Required Qualifications and Experience for Specialists in the Firm • Qualifications of a Master’s degree or PhD in Education relevant to CPD reform, supervision systems, pre-service teacher training, foundational literacy, foundational numeracy, and leadership;
At least 5 years demonstrable experience in similar assignments,
Proven experience in education sector reforms, teacher professional development, curriculum development, supervision systems, and foundational learning;
Experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa, preferably in resource-constrained contexts. • Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable outputs. • High level of professionalism, independence, and ability to work collaboratively under tight timelines. • Fluency in written and spoken English. • The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be obtained from the address given below. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested firms should provide information demonstrating that they have a team of specialists with the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. Duration of Assignment The assignment is expected to be completed within ten (10) months from the date of contract signing. The consultancy firm will be selected in accordance with the World Bank Procurement Regulations for Investment Project Financing (IPF).
