REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST CONSULTANT SERVICES The Republic of Sudan National Emergency Transport Rehabilitation Project (NETREP) Ministry of Transport Roads and Bridges Multi Donor Trust Fund: NS Grant No. TF 057323 Consultancy Services Technical Assistance for Capacity Building in the Planning Directorate of MTRB Request for Expressions of Interest This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in the dgMarket on October 20, 2006 The Government of National Unity of the Republic of Sudan has received a grant from the Multi Donor Trust Fund, managed by the World Bank, to assist in co-financing the first phase of the National Emergency Transport Rehabilitation Project, and intends to apply partof the proceeds of the grant for consultant services.

The service is to strengthen the Planning Directorate of MTRB todischarge its enhanced role as a leader of the sector. The service includes: i) Elaborating the responsibilities of the Directorate and redefining its set up. ii) Developing planning and monitoring tools supporting and directingthe execution of the activities of the Directorate iii) Providing capacity building support The Ministry of Transport, Roads and Bridges now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services.

Interested individual consultants are hereby requested to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (C.Vs, description of similar assignments and experience in similar assignments).
