Description

  • The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania represented by the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar under the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of Zanzibar Improving Quality of Basic Education Project (P178157). It intends to apply part of the credit proceeds for payment under the contract for Consultancy Services for Service Provider to support the implementation of phase 2 of the Zanzibar Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
  • The main objective is to support the implementation of phase 2 of the Zanzibar Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) for the current priorities required by ensuring the successful mainstreaming of the platform Content curation and aggregation, Capacity building, Hosting and technical enhancements and Sustainability of the VLE.
  • The detailed Terms of Reference (ToR) for the assignment are available on the following website https.//moez.go.tz/ or upon request to [email protected]. The Consultants will be responsible for ensuring that any addenda available on the website is also downloaded and incorporated.
  • The attention of interested consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” in November 2020, setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
  • A Consultant will be selected per the consultant Qualification Selection (CQS) Method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
  • Expressions of Interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below (in person) or by email: [email protected] on or before Thursday 23 May 2024 at 09:30 am East African time, and mentioned on the envelope “EoI for Provision of Consultancy Services for Service Provider to support the implementation of phase 2 of the Zanzibar Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
  • The Expression of Interest opening shall take place at the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, Mazizini Area, PMU Office on Thursday 23 May 2024 at 09:30 am East African time
