  • Support other FSRP initiatives/activities implemented as required. • Minimum Consultant’s qualifications and experience requirements• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, GIS, Data Science, Information Systems or related discipline. • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the design and implementation of Information Systems, GIS-enabled platforms, database management systems, web applications and system integration. • Experience in PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Linux Server Administration, GIS, Web Development, API Integration, Database Design, Capacity Building and Technical Documentation. • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with experience in conducting capacity-building workshops and trainings. • GIS skills applied to spatial data analysis. • Fluency in English, with knowledge of other regional languages considered an asset. • The Consulting Services Contract is expected to be for a period of Twelves (12) calendar months from the date of commencement. • The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) now invites individuals to express their interest in providing the services.
