• This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in the National e-Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST) dated 03/07/2023.

• The MINISTRY OF INFORMATION, COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY has received a Credit from the WORLD BANK towards the cost of EXPANSION OF GOVERNMENT NETWORK PHASE 1,

and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Credit to cover eligible payments under the contract for Expansion of Government Network -Phase 1.

• The MINISTRY OF INFORMATION, COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION

TECHNOLOGY now invites tenders from contractors registered or capable of being registered in ONE for Expansion of Government Network -Phase 1.

• Tendering will be conducted through the International Competitive Tendering specified in the Public Procurement Act, Cap 410.

• A complete set of tendering document(s) in English may be accessed through NeST.

• Tenderers are required to register through NeST and pay the tender participation fees indicated in the NeST to be able to participate in this Tendering process.

• All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in the form of a Tender Securing Declaration.

• All tenders must be properly filled in and submitted through NeST at or before 11:00 AM hours local time on 20/08/2024. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter through NeST. Tender opening details will be available to the public through NeST.

• Tenders not received through NeST shall not be evaluated irrespective of the circumstances.
