Gender Assessment Study for Southern Sudan — Ministry of Gender Child & Social Welfare

Grant No. TF095120; Project ID No. P115717 30th March 2011 Expressions of Interest The Government of Southern Sudan (GoSS) has received financing from the Multi-Donor Trust Fund (administered by the World Bank) toward the cost of the Gender Support and Development Project in Southern Sudan.

As part of the project, the Ministry of Gender Child & Social Welfare is seeking Expression of Interest from interested firms to undertake a Country Gender Assessment Study. The Country Gender Assessment will focus on strengthening policies and strategies for the Ministry of Gender Child & Social Welfare and relevant Ministries of GOSS and all levels of States, Counties, and Payams for Southern Sudan. The Ministry now invites eligible Consultancy firms to indicate theirinterest in providing for Comprehensive Gender Assessment (CGA) consultancy services.

Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services through (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Firms may associate to enhance their qualifications. The firm will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers dated May 2004, revised in October 2006.
