| REPUBLIC OF THE GAMBIA Ministry of Agriculture Central Projects Coordinating Unit Gambia Inclusive and Resilient Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (GIRAV) Old Cooperative Building Marina Parade, Banjul Tel: 4222440 / Specific Procurement Notice Request for Bids Goods For The Procurement and Supply of Fifty-Three (53) Motorcycles for Extension Services for GIRAV Project Country: The Gambia Name of Project: Gambia Inclusive and Resilience Agriculture Value Chain Development Project (GIRAV) Contract Title: Procurement and Supply of Fifty-three (53) Motor Cycles for Extension Services for GIRAV Project Grant No: IDA9109 – GM RFB Reference No.: GM-CPCU-290384-GO-RFB • The Government of the Gambia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Gambia Inclusive and resilience Agriculture Value Chain Development Project (GIRAV) and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract[1] for the Procurement and Supply of Fifty-Three (53) Motor Cycles for Extension Services For GIRAV project: “For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.” 2.

The Central Project Coordinating Unit (CPCU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders or Motor Cycles dealers to bid for the procurement and supply of Fifty-Three (53) Motor Cycles for project extension services. 3. Bidding will be conducted through Open competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (Fourth Edition - November 2020) (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest, and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

  • Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Central Project CoordinationUnit,AbdoulieTouray,laye20002001@yahoo.com/molpha.sanyang@gmail.com. 5. The[2] bidding document in English language and may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a D10,000.00 fee for bidding document.[3] The document will be sent by an electronic copy.
  • Bids must be delivered to the address below [4] on or before 16th June, 2022 Electronic Bidding shall not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ and anyone who chooses to attend can find the address below.
  • All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of GMD300,000.00 8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
