Procurement of 16 Motorcycles — United Republic of Tanzania / Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar

INVITATION FOR QUOTATION

• The United Republic of Tanzania /Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has received credit from the International Development Association (IDA) (the “Bank”) towards the cost of the Supply of 16 Motorcycles, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to cover eligible payments under the contract for which this invitation for Quotation is issued.

• Now, The Zanzibar Improving Quality of Basic Education (ZIQUE) on behalf of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar invites sealed Bids as a restricted tender with the price Quotation for supplying 16pcs of Motorcycles from the following firms:

2: Please, submit a priced quotation for supplying the goods as described in the Specifications and Schedule of requirements.

3: All Quotations in one original plus one (1) copy, properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes marked: Supply 16pcs of motorcycles: must be delivered to the Procurement Management Unit located at the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, Mazizini Area, room No. 26.

4: The deadline for submission shall be on Tuesday, 9th September 2025, at 9:30 AM in room no 27. Quotations shall be opened promptly thereafter at 9:45 am in public and in the presence of Supplier’s representatives who choose to attend the opening at the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, Mazizini Area, on the first-floor room, No. 37.

5: A late Quotation or Quotation that is not opened in public shall not be accepted for evaluation, irrespective of the circumstances, and Electronic Bidding will not be permitted.
