GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has applied for financing in the amount of US$250 Million equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the Productive Social Safety Net III, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, non-consulting services, and consulting services to be procured under this project. This project will be jointly financed by the Government of Norway, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), Ireland and the Government of Switzerland through its Embassy and the Government of Tanzania.

The project will include the following procurement activities:

A: GOODS

• Supply of Staff Uniforms

• Supply of Office Stationery

• Supply of Sundry Items

• Supply of office Furniture

• Supply ICT Consumables

• Supply of Motor Vehicle Spare Parts

• Supply of Human Resource Management Software

• Supply of T-shirts

• Supply of Power Backup System for Dodoma Servers

• Supply of Cisco switches

• Supply of Tablets

• Renewal of ACL Audit Software

• Renewal of Antivirus License

• Supply and configuration of Network Management and Database Performance Analyser

• Procurement of Nessus Software, Windows 2025 Server License and VMware license

• Supply of Clothes for the Event Exhibition

B: NON-CONSULTANCY SERVICES

• Provision of Internet services

• Provision of Décor & Branding - Event/Venue and Exhibition services

• Provision of publication services (Television Programs)

• Provision of the service for broadcasting the TASAF programs in Community Radios

• Provision of printing services

• Provision of Cleaning Services

• Servicing of Fire Extinguishers

• Provision of Travel Agents Services

• Provision of Fumigation Services

• Provision of Security Services

• Provision of Air Conditioning Services

• Provision of Car Hire Services

• Provision of Catering Services

• Printing of T-shirts, Technical Manuals, Handbooks, Newsletters, and Posters

• Event Documentation - Professional video & Photography

C: CONSULTANCY SERVICE

Consultancy service for developing a Social Protection Financing Strategy and a Multi-Year Financing Plan for the Government of Tanzania Mainland

Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (September 2025) (Procurement Regulations) and is open to all eligible firms and individuals as defined in the Procurement Regulations. After project negotiations, the World Bank shall arrange the publication on its external website of the agreed initial procurement plan and all subsequent updates once it has provided no objection.

Specific procurement notices for contracts subject to open international competitive procurement will be announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business online, on the World Bank’s external website and www.tasaf.go.tz.

Prequalification/Initial Selection of suppliers and contractors will not be applicable.
