SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE (PROCUREMENT OF GOODS) Date: 13 May 2018 The Republic of Zimbabwe Name of the Project: ZIMBABWE PUBLIC PROCUREMENT MODERNISATION PROJECT Loan No./Credit No./ Grant No.: P155751 Contract Title: ICB-OPC-WB-02-2018: PROCUREMENT OF ICT EQUIPMENT Reference No. 03 This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared on UNDB online on 20 August 2015. The Republic of Zimbabwe has received financing from Zimbabwe Reconstruction Fund (ZIMREF) coordinated by the World Bank toward the cost of the Zimbabwe Public Procurement Modernisation Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the procurement of ICT Equipment.
The Office of the President and Cabinet now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for supply, delivery, installation of: 100 x Black and White Printers. Bidders wishing to offer discounts will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers (January 2011 Edition, revised July 2014) (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from The Project Manager, Public Sector Modernisation and Performance Management, Office of the President and Cabinet, 13th Floor Livingstone House, 48 Samora Machel Avenue, Harare and Email: spb.reform@gmail.com and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 0800 to 1600 hours at the address given below.
A complete set of bidding documents in English may be forwarded to interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. The document will be made available for collection. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00am Zimbabwe local time on 29 June 2018.
Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below at 10:30am Zimbabwe local time on 29 June 2018.
