• The United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of TANZANIA SCALING UP SUSTAINABLE MARINE FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE MANAGEMENT PROJECT - TASFAM, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of ZAFIRI Laboratories Reagents and Equipment’s

• The Ministry of Blue Economy and Fisheries now invite sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of ZAFIRI Laboratories Reagents and Equipment’s for the delivery period of three (3) months from the date of signing contract.

• Bidding will be conducted through Open National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Six Edition, February 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Secretary of Tender Board, Ministry of Blue Economy and Fisheries Zanzibar, ZURA house Ground floor room no 6, [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours 07:30 to 15:30 hours at the address given above.

• The bidding document in English may be purchased upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Fifty Thousand only (TZS 150,000/=). The method of payment will be by control number issued by purchaser upon request for payment through the following bank account addressed below:

• Bids must be delivered to the address below:

Secretary of the Tender Board, Ministry of Blue Economy and Fisheries Zanzibar, Gound floor room no. 6 ZURA House at Maisara Nyerere Road, on or before Wednesday 14th January 2026 on 2:00pm for physical submission of the document only.

Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below: -
