  • The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Education for Skills and Employment (EASE), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for procurement of Procurement of Training Equipment’s and accessories of Electrical Technology, Autotronics and EV and Hybrid for various PTCs( Debre Markos ,Ethio Itally,W/ro Sihin, Harar and other collages
  • The Ministry of Labor and Skills now invites sealed Bids from eligible and qualified Bidders for the Procurement, Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning, and Training of Laboratory Training Equipment and Accessories for selected TVET institutions and training centers under the following three Lots: Lot 1: Autotronics Technology Laboratory Equipment and Accessories;

Lot 2: Electrical Technology Laboratory Equipment and Accessories;

Lot 3: Electric Vehicle (EV) and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Laboratory Equipment and Accessories.

The Goods and Related Services shall be delivered, installed, tested, commissioned, and made fully operational within six (6) months from the Effective Date of Contract or as specified in the Delivery and Completion Schedule. No margin of domestic preference shall apply.

Qualification CriteriaMinimum RequirementFinancial CapabilityThe Bidder shall submit audited financial statements for the last three (3) years preceding the bid submission deadline, demonstrating the current soundness of the Bidder’s financial position. For a Joint Venture (JV), this requirement shall be met by each member.Specific Experience
For each lot, the Bidder shall demonstrate that it has successfully completed at least two (2) contracts each with a value of not less than the amounts specified below; or one (1) contract with a value of not less than the amounts specified below, within the last Four (4) years prior to bid submission deadline, that have been successfully and substantially completed and that are similar in nature and complexity to the Goods and Related Services under the Contract.
