Contract Title: 4 – Wheel Drive Double Cabin Pickups

• The Government of The Gambia has received financing from the World Bank equivalent to US$31M to implement the Gambia Social Safety Net Project. The project intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments for Supply of 4 Wheel Drive Double Cabin Pickups

• The National Nutrition Agency (NaNA), the Fiduciary Agent of the Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for:

• Bidders shall Bid for all the items, as further defined in the request for bids document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded the contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.
• Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (July 1st, 2016, revised in November 2017 and August 2018) (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
• Bidders are required to have specific qualifications such as experience/technical and financial capabilities for Request for bids; such qualification requirements will be found in Request for Bids document.

The inspection of the bidding document can be done during office hours at the address given below.

• The bidding document may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of GMD6,000.00. The method of payment will be cash.
• Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 14:00 noon on 6th July 2023. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and/or anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 6th July 2023, at 14:30.
• All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 2% of the total bid price of items quoted
• Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
