Provision of Non-Consulting Services for Urban Mass Certification and Regularization of Unplanned Settlements — Bariadi District Council

THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF TANZANIA MINISTRY OF LANDS, HOUSING AND HUMAN SETTLEMENTS DEVELOPMENT Tender No. 48/2023/2024/NC/193 FOR Bariadi District Council - Urban mass certification, formalization, and the regularization of unplanned settlements 17/05/2024 This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in the National e-Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST) dated 16/11/2023. 1.

The MINISTRY OF LANDS, HOUSING AND HUMAN SETTLEMENTS DEVELOPMENT has received a Loan from the IDA towards the cost of LAND TENURE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (LTIP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Loan to cover eligible payments under the contract for Bariadi District Council - Urban mass certification, formalization, and the regularization of unplanned settlements. 2. The MINISTRY OF LANDS, HOUSING AND HUMAN SETTLEMENTS DEVELOPMENT now invites tenders from eligible GOVERNMENT_ENTERPRISE, Company Local, Company Foreign, Special Group, Manufacturer Local, Sole Proprietor Local, Partnership Local, Manufacturer Foreign, Partnership Foreign and Sole Proprietor Foreign Suppliers of Bariadi District Council - Urban mass certification, formalization, and the regularization of unplanned settlements.

• Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering method specified in the Public Procurement Act, Cap 410 and is open to tenderers specified in paragraph 3 of this IFT. 4. A complete set of tendering document(s) in English may be accessed through NeST.5.

Tenderers are required to register on NeST and pay tender participation fee as indicated in the NeST to be able to participate in this tendering process. 6. All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security in form of Tender Security - Bank Guarantee in the currency of The Tanzanian Shilling or freely convertible currencies in case of foreign Tenderers worth 100,000,000.00.

• All tenders must be appropriately filled in and submitted through NeST at or before 2:00 PM Local Hours on 31/05/2024. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter through NeST. Tender opening details will be available to the public through NeST.

• Tenders not received through NeST shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances. 9. PERMANENT SECRETARY
