- The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Emergency Locust Response Program. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this financing will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Procurement of Works, for the chemical Store Renovation in Afar region, Logia (Lot-1) & Oromia región, Modjo (Lot-2).
- The Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Renovation of chemical Store. Margin of preference shall not apply. Bidders who wish to participate in this bid should have the following key qualification requirements.

| A minimum number of one (1) similar contract specified below that have been satisfactorily and substantially completed as a prime contractor, joint venture member, management contractor or sub-contractor between 1st January 2021 and bid submission deadline with a minimum value of ETB 50 million.• Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September, 2023 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Agriculture, Procurement Executive Officer, and inspect the bidding documents at the address below during office hours: from 09:00 hours to 12:30 hours and from 14:00 hours to 17:00 hours Ethiopian Time, Mondays to Thursdays and 09:00 hours to 11:30 hours and from 14:00 hours to 17:00 hours Ethiopian Time on Fridays.• The bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 500 (Five Hundred Birr only). The method of payment will be in cash deposit at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) Account Number Ref1000009144009 and presenting the deposit slip in person to MOA Finance Executive Office and the document will be given to the applicants arriving at our premises in person.• Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 14:00 hours Ethiopian Time April 14 2026. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
