INVITATION FOR TENDER No. TR26/2023/2024/W/06 FOR

RENOVATION OF DART CONTROL CENTER BUILDING

• This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in the National e-Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST) dated 01/08/2023.

• The DAR ES SALAAM RAPID TRANSIT AGENCY has received a Credit from the World Bank (International Development Agency) towards the cost of Renovation of Dart Control Center Building, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Credit to cover eligible payments under the contract for Renovation of DART Control Center Building.

• The DAR ES SALAAM RAPID TRANSIT AGENCY now invites tenders from contractors registered or capable of being registered as CLASS ONE contractor for the Renovation of DART Control Center Building.

• Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering specified in the Public Procurement Act, CAP 410.

• A complete set of tendering documents(s) in English may be accessed through NeST.

• Tenderers are required to register on the NeST and pay tender participation fees indicated in the NeST to be able to participate in this tendering process.

• All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in the form of Bank Guarantee in the currency of The Tanzanian Shilling or freely convertible currencies in case of foreign Tenderers worth 100,000,000.00.

• All tenders must be properly filled in and submitted through NeST at or before 2:00 PM hours local time on 23/07/2024. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter through NeST. Tender opening details will be available to the public through NeST.

• Tenders not received or opened through NeST shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
