The Projects Coordination Unit, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for reprinting of Text Books services and delivery to the Seven Regional Offices under MoBSE, The Gambia, in the following quantities: 1,501,930.00 copies of Pupils’ Books, and 32,731 copies of Teachers’ Guides, to be procured in five indivisible lots. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Fourth Edition November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Projects Coordination Unit, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Willy Thorpe Place Building, Banjul, The Gambia. pm.pcu@edugambia.gm and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below (2) from 8.00 a.m. to 16.00 p.m Mondays to Thursdays and 08:00am to 12:30 p.m Fridays [2] 5. The[3] bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee[4] of USD 500.00 (Five hundred dollars) or GMD 25,000 dalasi equivalent. The method of payment is physical cash.[5] The document will be sent by email.[6] 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 14 October 2021 at 12:00 PM. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 14th October, 2021 at 12:30. 7. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of USD 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand dollars only) for all five lots or USD 2,000.00 (One Thousand Dollars) for each lot or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. 8. “Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.” 9.
