Governance modernization to enable efficient service delivery Project

Assignment Title: Senior Database Administrator

The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the governance modernization to enable efficient service delivery project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

The consulting services (“the Services”) seeks the service of a qualified and experienced Senior Database Administrator , who shall be responsible for the data base administration and maintenance , data base performance and system development, and resolve any challenges related to ICSMIS SYSTEM at the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC). The duration of consulting service is for 12 months with possible extension based on satisfactory performance.

The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be found at the following website: www.csc.gov.et. The TOR can also be obtained by writing to the email address provided below or in person from the office of FCSC.

The Federal Civil Service Commission now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are: academic qualification, general and specific experience in the field, and experience in the Region.

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” February 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
