  • Provide construction supervision and contract administration services for the Amibara Right Bank Embankment civil works from chainage 35+000 to 60+000. • Supervise the works in accordance with the FIDIC Red Book (2017), approved designs, specifications, and contract requirements. • Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and social requirements throughout construction. • Review and recommend necessary design adjustments during construction and coordinate with the Lot 1 Consultant. KEY DELIVERABLES AND INDICATIVE TIMING: The key deliverables include: the Inception Report, to be submitted within two (2) weeks of contract commencement. During the construction period, the Consultant shall submit Weekly Status Reports, Bi-weekly Executed Take-off Sheets and survey/as-built data, Monthly Progress Reports, and Quarterly Safeguard Compliance and Environmental & Social Monitoring Reports, in accordance with the contract requirements. Design review outputs and recommendations shall be submitted as required during the pre-construction and construction phases. Upon completion of the works, the Consultant shall submit As-built Drawings, Operation and Maintenance Manuals, the Final Completion Report, and the Final Payment Certification as part of the project handover and contract close-out. SCOPE OF SERVICES: The scope of the services is to provide construction supervision and contract administration for the Amibara Right Bank Embankment civil works under Lot 1 (Chainage 0+000 to 35+000) and Lot 2 (Chainage 35+000 to 60+000), including design review, quality assurance, environmental and social compliance, post-construction support, and coordination between the two supervision consultants to ensure consistent implementation of the Project. ESTIMATED PERSON MONTH & DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT: The estimated total key staff input for the consultancy services is 144 Person-Months per lot, resulting in an overall estimated input of 288 Person-Months for the two lots combined. The implementation period for each lot is 20 months, comprising 1 month pre-construction, 18 months construction supervision, and 1 month project close-out, including limited inputs during the Defects Liability Period (DLP). The assignment is expected to commence in line with the procurement schedule, with the total contract duration aligned to the full supervision and close-out period for both Lot 1 (Chainage 0+000 to 35+000) and Lot 2 (Chainage 35+000 to 60+000). Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. THE SHORTLISTING CRITERIA ARE: • Firm’s Core business and years in business

  • Technical and managerial capability of the firm. • Number and qualifications of professional staff of the firm. Not the number and qualification of key Experts proposed for the assignment as they will not be evaluated at the shortlisting stage The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Nov 2020 updated in September 2023. Procurement will also comply with “Guidelines on Preventing and Combating Fraud and Corruption in Projects Financed by IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants” revised as of July 1, 2016. Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications, but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub-consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the QCBS method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
