- The Government of Malawi has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Accelerating Sustainable and Clean Energy Access Transformation in Malawi (ASCENT Malawi Project) which is being implemented by the Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi Limited (ESCOM). ESCOM intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of Electric Motorcycles.
