The Republic of Malawi MINISTRY OF HEALTH MALAWI HEALTH EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS RESPONSE RESILIENCE PROJECT (MHEPRRP) Request for Bids Goods (One-Envelope Bidding Process) NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (NCB) Country: Malawi Name of Project: Malawi Health Emergency Preparedness, Response and Resilience Program Contract Title: Supply and Delivery of Laboratory Equipment Grant No: GFF - D4000 Project ID No: P505187 Issue Date: 25th October 2025 • The Government of Malawi through Ministry of Health has received financing from the World Bank/IDA towards the cost of the Malawi Health Emergency Project Response Resilience Project • Ministry of Health intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments for procurement of Goods (Laboratory Equipment) • Ministry of Health now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the provision of Goods (Laboratory Equipment). • Bidding will be conducted through Open National Competitive Procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (“Procurement Regulations 2025”) and is open to all eligible Bidders. • Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Health and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 11 (a) during working days from 8.00am to 12.00pm and from 1.00pm to 4.00pm. • A complete set of Bidding Document in English may be purchased by interested bidders or their representatives at Cash Office – Room Number 5, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Malawi Kwacha (MK10,000.00) and collected from the Procurement Office at the address given below at 11(a) during working days.
