| 14th April, 20261. The Government of Kenya (hereinafter called “Borrower”) through Ministry of Water and Sanitation, State Department for Water and Sanitation; has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Coastal Region Water Security and Climate Resilience Project (CRWSCRP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of Motor Cycles for Livelihood Restoration Program at Mwache Kwale County. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.2 The State Department for Water & Sanitation now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Contract No. KE-MOWI-CRWSCRP-005-2025-2026-GO-RFB; Supply and Delivery of Motor Cycles for LRP in Mwache, Kwale County as follows: | S/No. | Item Description | QTY | 1. |

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” dated September 2025 Seventh Edition (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from The Project Manager; Coastal Region Water Security and Climate Resilience Project (CRWSCRP), Project Manager - E-mail: [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours i.e. 0800 to 1700 hours East African Time at the address given below.5. The bidding document in English may be downloaded freely from the website below or state portal for www.tenders.go.ke or www.water.go.ke6. Bids clearly Marked Supply and Delivery of Motor Cycles for LRP in Mwache, Kwale County RFB Reference No.: KE-MOWI-CRWSCRP-005-2025-2026-GO-RFB must be delivered and placed in the Tender Box located at Maji House 5th Floor Reception, to The Project Manager, Coastal Region Water Security and Climate Resilience Project (CRWSCRP), on Ngong Road on or before 5th May,2026 at 11:00 AM EAT. Electronic Bidding will NOT be permitted and late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the same place at Maji House 4th Floor Board Room 449.7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security issued by a reputable financial institution in Kenya and valid for 30 days beyond the Tender Validity period in form of a Bank Guarantee of Kenya Shillings Eight Hundred Thousand Shillings (Kshs. 800,000) or an equivalent amount freely convertible currency.8.
