Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one lots will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid. • Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers Fifth Edition of September 2023 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend in person at Conference Room No.2 Zanzibar, 10:30 am after the deadline for bid submission • All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of Banker’s Cheque or Bank Guarantee. The amount of bid security shall be TZS:10,000,000 (Ten million Tanzania Shilling) or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency in the either of the forms and instructions provided in the ITB 19.3 (d) of the tender document, clearly addressed to the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, Natural Resources and Livestock Zanzibar.
