The United Public of Tanzania Has Received Financing From The World Bank Toward The Cost of The East Africa Skills For Transformation And Regional Integration Project (EASTRIP) TZ-DIT-MWZ-384131-GO-RFB, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply of heavy equipment's and leather machine (supply of equipment and machines for leather processing (Supply, Installation and Commission) Tanning and Finishing Section for the Center of Excellence in Leather Processing and Allied Technology (CELPAT) at Dar Es Salaam Institute of Technology Mwanza Campus,, Airport/Makongoro Road, Pasiansi Area, In Mwanza Region in Mwanza Region.

• The Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) now invites Bids from eligible Bidders for supply of equipment and machines for leather processing (Supply, Installation and Commission) Tanning and Finishing Section for the Center of Excellence in Leather Processing and Allied Technology (CELPAT) at Dar Es Salaam Institute of Technology Mwanza Campus, Airport/Makongoro Road, Pasiansi Area, In Mwanza Region in Mwanza Region.

• Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) using a Request for Bids (RFB), and is open to all eligible Bidders. Bidding process will be conducted through the National Electronic Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST).

• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information in office of the Principal of Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT), P. O. Box 2958 Dar Es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania during office hours i.e. from 0700 to 1500 hours at the address given below, and through the National Electronic Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST).

• Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, Government Notice No.446 of 2013 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS).

• A complete set of tendering/bidding document in ENGLISH may be accessed through NeST. Tenderers are required to register on NeST and pay tender participation fee indicated in NeST to able to participate in this tendering process.

• All tenders must be properly filled in and submitted through NeST at or before 10:00 AM on 28/12/2023 Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter through NeST.

• Tenders not received through NeST shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances. Opening details will be available to the public through NeST.
