Supply, delivery and installation of weather station equipment — Uganda Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation Project (UCSATP)

Specific Procurement Notice Request for Bids Goods (One-Envelope Bidding Process) Country:Uganda Name of Project:Uganda Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation Project (UCSATP) Contract Title:Supply and Delivery of Various Equipment and Accessories for the Existing Weather Stations, Loan No:P173296 RFB Reference No:UG-MAAIF-449987-GO-RFB. Issued on :15th May,2025 1.The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Uganda Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for supply and delivery of various equipment and accessories for the Existing weather stations “For this contract, the MAAF shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.” 2.The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply and delivery of various Equipment and Accessories for the Existing Weather Stations.

3.Bidding will be conducted through Open Domestic Bidding method as specified in the PPDA ACT, Cap 205 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4.Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1700 hours at the address given below in 9; 5.The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of UGX.

300,000 (Three Hundred Thousand Shillings Only). The method of payment will be by bank upon issuance of a bank advice slip. The document will be sent/issued by both email and in hardcopy. 6.Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 6th June, 2025; 11:00 am local time.

Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The Bid envelope shall be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below on 6th June, 2025; 11:30am; local time at the address mentioned below in 9; 7.All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration.
