• The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through Mzumbe University has received funds from the World Bank for implementation of Tanzania Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of ICT Infrastructure (LAN and WAN) and rehabilitation of existing ICT Infrastructure at Mzumbe University

• The Mzumbe University now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of ICT Infrastructure [LAN & WAN] and Rehabilitation of Existing ICT Infrastructure at Mzumbe University Main Campus, Dar es Salaam Campus College (Upanga & Tegeta) and Mbeya Campus College

• Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” [September, 2023, Fifth Edition] (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Mzumbe University, Castor Komba of P. O. Box 1, Mzumbe- Morogoro Email: [email protected] Phone: 075731115 and inspect the bidding document through NeST.

• Bidders are required to register through NeST and pay the bid participation fees indicated in the NeST (https://nest.go.tz/nest-tenderer/wallet/tender-charges) to be able to participate in this Bidding process. NeST payment user guide is made available in the NeST dashboard

• All Bids must be accompanied by a Tender Security - Bank Guarantee in the currency of The Tanzanian Shilling or freely convertible currencies in case of foreign Bidders worth 100,000,000.00.].

• Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
