  • Background

This Invitation for Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project which appeared in the United Nations Development Business (UNDB), Issue No. WB-OP0015674 dated 28 November 2021, and in the National e-Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST) dated 21 August 2025.

  • Financing

The Open University of Tanzania has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Supply of Laboratory Equipment.

The Open University of Tanzania now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of laboratory equipment as detailed below:
