### Media Grand/ Campaign for the Sudanese Gum Arabic

The Forests National Corporation (FNC) has received a grant from Multi-Donor Trust Fund and (MDTF) (Under the supervision of the International Development Association –World Bank, in addition to co-financing from International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) toward the cost of Revitalizing the Sudan Gum Arabic Production & Marketing Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments for consultant services.

Objective

The general objective is to call for expression of interest from Advertisement Agencies to develop an advertisement campaign for Gum Arabic, using several media and public relations methods, to significantly enhance substantially increase domestic demand, production and export of gum Arabic from Sudan.

Scope

• The services to be contracted will consist of a series of advertisingmessage through the use of various forms of media with a uniform lookand feel and which will embody a wide range of activities.

• The campaign must be well planned and the intervention (execution) must be strategic (a well-built advertising strategy must be envisaged).

• The creation process being followed by bidding agencies should be well defined and presented as part of the proposal. Consideration should be given for the campaign to be broadcast through conventional media, unconventional media, or a combination of both,

• The advertising agency to be contracted should fully cover all of thepossible scenarios, it is required that a general proposal will be produced to describe the intervention (of each area of expertise) and what their documentation needs are in each case.

Revitalizing the Sudan Gum Arabic Production & Marketing Project now invites eligible consultant firms to indicate their interest in providing the services.  Interested consultant firms must provide information indicating thatthey are qualified to perform the services. (Brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultant firms may associate to enhance their qualifications.

The consultant / firm will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (current edition).
