The GIRAV has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Development of two Agro Logistic Centers in Maka Farafenni and Wassu, in the Gambia and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts[1] for Construction of Agro Logistic Center at Maka Farafenni and Wassu, The Gambia

• The GIRAV now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction of Agro Logistic Center at Maka Farafenni (Lot-1) and Wassu (Lot-2) in the Gambia

• Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” [insert date of applicable Procurement Regulations edition as per legal agreement] (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

• Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Gambia Inclusive and Resilient Agriculture Value Chain Development Project, [email protected] / [email protected] and inspect the Bidding document during office hours 8:00am to 16:00 hours from Mondays to Thursdays and 8:00 to 12:30pm Fridays at the address given below.

• The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD 200.00 [Three hundred dollars or equivalent in Gambia Dalasi]. The method of payment will be by cash. The document will be sent by soft copy.

• Bids must be delivered to the address below [state address at the end of this RFB][2] on or before 15th April 2024].11:00am Electronic bidding will Not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The outer Bid envelopes marked “ORIGINAL BID,” and the inner envelopes marked “TECHNICAL PART” will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below [state address at the end of this RFB] on Ministry of Agriculture Conference Room at 11:30am March 2024 All envelopes marked “FINANCIAL PART” shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody of the Employer until the second public Bid opening.

• All Bids must be accompanied by a Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and/or Sexual Harassment (SH) Declaration.

• Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.

Add a new para. 3 and renumber paras 3 - 8 as follows: “Bidders may Bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the bidding document.
