1. This invitation for bids

follows the general procurement notice for this project that appearedin Development Business, issue no.

WB2228-800/11 of 19th May, 2011.

2. The Government of the

Kingdom of Swaziland has received financing

from the World Bank toward the cost of the Health,

HIV/AIDS and TB Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward

payments under the contract for Supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of

Medical and Non-Medical Equipment and Furniture for Mbabane Hospital Maternity

Ward (Lot 1 to Lot 4).

Bidding will be conducted through the InternationalCompetitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines:Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans andIDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers [insert correct title and date of applicable Guidelines edition as perlegal agreement] ("Procurement Guidelines"), and is open to all eligiblebidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, pleaserefer toparagraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict ofinterest.4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further informationfrom and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 08.00 to 17.00 hours atthe address given below.5.
