• The Government of The Gambia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of The Gambia Resilience Inclusive Skills and Equity Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract: Procurement and Supply of Equipment

• Interested bidders can obtain the detailed technical specifications from our office premises or via email. The following are the list of items:

• Laptop computers – 65 pieces

• LaserJet printers – 50 pieces

• Printer 2 in 1 – 10 pieces

• Giant Printer – 3 pieces

• Tablet for field work – 60 pieces

• USB C Adapters – 10 pieces

• UPS for Video Conference – 3 pieces

• Stabilizer for Three Smart Board Video Conference Systems – 3 pieces

• Stabilizer for Two Heavy Duty Photocopiers – 2 pieces

• Stabilizer for One Giant Printer – 1 piece

• Bidding will be conducted through the World Bank Shopping procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers September 2023 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement Unit Central Project Coordination Unit, during office hours Monday to Thursday from 8am- 4pm and Fridays from 8am to 12:30pm at the address given below or by email at [email protected] and [email protected]

• PRICES: The prices shall be quoted in Gambia Dalasi and shall be fixed and not subject to any price adjustment. All quotations shall be submitted with a 10% withholding tax for local contractors as per the Gambia Tax laws.

• The technical specifications in English can be purchased at the cost of GMD50,000 by interested eligible bidders from the address below or via email. The document will be sent by electronic as well as hardcopy if requested by the bidder.

• The quotation must be submitted with the business registration certificate and the 2024 GPPA registration certificate.

• Price quotations will be evaluated based on the most advantageous and substantially responsive to the bid, and contracts will be awarded to the firm offering the lowest responsive bid.

• A catalog of items quoted must be submitted, and a 1-year warranty is required.

• Proof of similar contracts performed in the last five years (At least three references)

• The deadline for submission of quotations is on 14 October 2024 at 12:30 GMT. Late quotations will be rejected.
