Operation and maintenance Consultant Qualification and Experience The Government through Eswatini Water Service Corporation now invites eligible consultants (individual consultants) to indicate their interest in providing services on the Assessment and Verification of Water Supply Services. The Expression of Interest shall include information about consultants’ qualifications and capability to perform the consulting services including description of experiences with similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, confirmation of availability of the consultants, The shortlisting criteria are: The consultant shall have the following qualifications: • Advanced university degree in engineering or any related field. • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the water supply, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) interventions and intersections with health, nutrition, and education highly desired. • Knowledge and understanding of WASH design and technologies. • Demonstrated understanding of cross cutting issues such as gender and social inclusion. • A track record of delivering analytical work to a high standard and in a timely fashion. • Registered with a recognized Engineering Association and be eligible for registration with the Engineering Association of Eswatini
Strong writing skills in English are needed. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraphs 3.14 to 3.17 of the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers of July 2016, revised in November 2017 and August 2018 setting forth the World Bank’s Policy on Conflict of Interest. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the QCBS (Quality and Cost Based Selection) method set out in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated July 2016, revised in November 2017 and August 2018.
