SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE Request for Bids Works (Without Prequalification) Employer: Eswatini Water Services Corporation Project: Eswatini Water Supply and Sanitation Access Project Contract title: Construction of 3 No. Reservoirs and a Pump Station along the Nhlangano to Siphambanweni Pipeline Main – Package 1 Country: Kingdom of Eswatini Loan No. /Credit No. / Grant No.: 90120 - SZ RFB No: EWSC-231635-CW-RFB(EWSC 4 of 2021/22) Issued on: 2021 • The Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini-GoKE (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has received financing from the World Bank International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) (the “Bank”) toward the cost of the Eswatini Water Supply and Sanitation Access Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under this contract.

The Eswatini Water Services Corporation (EWSC), will be an implementing agency of the Borrower. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing. • The EWSC now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the construction one 3,5 Ml reservoir and two 4 Ml reservoirs and a pump station with a 600kl pressed steel tank sump and chlorination building. Construction is on four individual sites between Nhlangano and Siphambanweni.

The expected construction period is 18 months. • Bidding will be conducted through national procurement procedures priced in local currency only using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Project Financing (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. Bids should be priced in local currency only. • Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from: Eswatini Water Services Corporation – Procurement Manager – procurement@swsc.co.sz, and copy to mhlonishwa.dlamini@swsc.co.sz to inspect the Bidding document during office hours 08:30 to 16:30 at the address given below. • The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of SZL2 500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Emalangeni Only) or equivalent.

The method of payment will be – cash payment/presenting bank guaranteed cheque at the Eswatini Water Services Corporations’ revenue centre in Ezulwini (The Gables) upon which a receipt shall be issued. Alternative payment can be by bank transfer to Account Name – Eswatini Water Services Corporation, Bank Name – Standard Bank, Account No – 9110000596666, Branch Code – 663164, SWIFT CODE – SBIC SZ MX. Proof of payment should be sent to procurement@swsc.co.sz and copy mhlonishwa.dlamini@swsc.co.sz after which the bidding document will be emailed to the prospective bidder. • Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:00hrs local time on the 03 September 2021.

Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.
