- The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the De-Risking, Inclusion and Value Enhancement (DRIVE) of Pastoral Economies in the Horn of Africa Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Works: Construction of New Livestock Quarantine Stations at Gumbi Bordode and Moyale woredas Oromia Regional State.
- The Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of New Livestock Quarantine Stations in the following 2 Lots.

| 2 | Construction of New Livestock Quarantine Stations at Moyale, Borena Zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia | 6,000,000.00• Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, Seventh Edition, September (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 3.14-3.16 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. The Bidder shall submit documentary evidence demonstrating that it has successfully completed at least two (2) contracts of a similar nature and complexity within the last five (5) years. In addition, the Bidder shall demonstrate a minimum average annual construction turnover of not less than USD 3,000,000.00 for each lot, calculated as the total certified payments received for construction contracts completed and/or under execution during the last five (5) years, divided by five (5).• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Agriculture and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 8:30AM to 5:00PM at the address given below.• The Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders upon submitting of a written application to the address below and a bank slip for the non-refundable fee of ETB 1000.00 (One Thousand Birr only) payment by depositing on the Ministry of Agriculture Bank Account No. 1000009144009, at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.• Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 17th February 2026 GC at 10:00 AM EAT. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.
