The Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini-GoKE (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has received financing from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) (the “Bank”) towards the cost of the EWSSAP and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Construction of Sanitation Facilities for Vulnerable Households and Informal Settlements for Nhlangano and Hlatsi 2. 1093 The duration of the assignment is: • Lot 1 and 2 – 10 months whereby 2 months is allowed for the design and and 8 months for fabrication, supply and construction of sanitation facilities. • Lot 3 – 8 months for construction of sanitation facilities 3. Each tenderer may submit a tender for either one, or all lots and the lowest responsive bidder for each lot will be awarded (a bidder can be awarded more than one lot). The tenderer must offer the whole of the quantity or quantities indicated for each lot. 4. The procurement will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 5.Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from: Eswatini Water Services Corporation – Procurement Specialist – procurement@ewsc.co.sz copy to patricia.magutshwa@ewsc.co.sz and inspect the Bidding document during office hours 08:30 to 16:30 at the address given below. 6. The Bidding Document is in English and may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of SZL 500 (Five Hundred Emalangeni Only) or equivalent for each lot. The method of payment will be – cash payment/presenting bank guaranteed cheque at the Eswatini Water Services Corporations’ revenue centre in Ezulwini (The Gables) upon which a receipt shall be issued. Alternative payment can be by bank transfer to Account Name– Eswatini Water Services Corporation, Bank Name – Standard Bank, Account No – 9110000596666, Branch Code – 663164, SWIFT CODE – SBIC SZ MX. Proof of payment should be sent to procurement@ewsc.co.sz and copy patricia.magutshwa@ewsc.co.sz after which the bidding document will be emailed to the prospective bidder. 7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12h00 Mbabane time on 21 June 2024 and deposited into a designated tender box. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on [12h10 local time on 21 June 2024].
