  • The Government of Liberia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Institutional Foundations to Improve Services in Health (IFISH) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for the procurement of assorted essential medicals and medical supplies for the Ministry of Health. “For these contracts, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.”

The Ministry of Health (MOH) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for procurement of assorted essential medicals and medical supplies of Health Sector Goods required. The deliveries of the above items are to be made at the Ministry of Health, Center Medical Store (CMS) Upper Caldwell, Montserrado County, Liberia within a delivery period of 6 & 8 weeks.3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” of July 2016, Revised November 2017, August 2018, November 2020, September 2023, and February 2025 (Sixth Edition) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations4.
