  • At least five (5) years work experience in project management;
  • Demonstrated experience in developing policies or broad stakeholder coordination mechanisms through participatory and socially-inclusive processes, including gender integration;
  • Knowledge of land governance, land administration, land tenure, land use planning in The Gambia or related sectors is a strong added value;
  • Excellent coordination skills in a multi-stakeholder context;
  • Proficient English and excellent technical writing skills;
  • Proficient communication skills in at least one local language from The Gambia (Wolof);
  • Ability to write clear, correct, and technical English. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020) (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant (IC) Selection method set out in the Procurement Regulations. Further information can be obtained at the address below during office hours 08:00 to 16:00 GMT Mondays to Thursdays and from 0800 to 12:30 GMT on Fridays.
