Box 50375 LUSAKA JOB ADVERTISEMENT NO. 1 OF 2024 The Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) through the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD) has set a Devolution agenda for ease of service delivery at the Local Authority Level with the aim of facilitating increased rural development.

In this regard, the Government of the Republic of Zambia is implementing the Zambia Devolution Support Program (ZDSP) with the financing facility from the World Bank. The responsible institution for the Program is the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD). A Program Steering Committee (PSC) will provide an oversight during the Program implementation.

The Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development now wishes to engage the services of suitably qualified candidate to fill the position of Program Coordinator, in the Zambia Devolution Support Program (ZDSP), Program Management Unit (PMU): Country: Zambia Name of Project: Zambia Devolution Support Program (ZDSP) Job Title: Program Coordinator (1) Duty Station: LUSAKA Reporting: Permanent Secretary (Administration). Reference Number: P178492 JOB PURPOSE The Program Coordinator will be the lead expert on all aspects of the Program with Government policies/guidelines and World Bank policies/guidelines.

S/he will be responsible for monitoring the everyday running of the project. S/he will work in liaison with other PMU members and implementing Partners.
