Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are: 4.0 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE The consultant should have the following minimum qualifications: Qualifications • Bachelor and/or a master’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Social Development Anthropology or related Social Sciences. Experience • At least 7 years general experience and 5 years specific experience in development work. • Consultancy experience in feasibility studies involving social and gender components, resettlement action plan development, social impact assessment and mitigation measures of infrastructure projects is a must
Knowledge of World Bank environmental and Social Safeguard policies and operations will be an added advantage. The attention of interested individual Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised November 2017, August 2018 and November, 2020, setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. Please refer to paragraph 3.17 of the Procurement Regulations on conflict of interest related to this assignment which is available on the Bank’s website athttp://projects-beta.worldbank.org/en/projects-operations/products-and-services/brief/procurement-new-framework. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant Selection Method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
