MUNICIPALITY OF MOGADISHU NAGAAD PROJECT REQUESTS FOR BIDS (One-Envelope Bidding Process) Country: Federal Republic of Somalia Name of Project: Somalia Urban Resilience Project Phase Two (SURP-II) Contract Title: PROPOSED REHABILITATION OF SIGALE POND RFB Reference No. :SO-MM-470744-CW-RFB Date RFB Issued :25/01/2025 • The Federal Government of Somalia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Somalia Urban Resilience Project- Phase II (SURP-II) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Proposed Rehabilitation of Sigale Pond in Hodan District. • For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing. • The Banadir Regional Administration Project Implementation Unit (BRA PIU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Proposed Rehabilitation of Sigale Pond in Hodan District. • The scope of the works include. • Dewatering (52,650 m3) • Desilting (34,560 m3) • Pump House rehabilitation • Supply and installation of storm water pumping system • Heavy duty wire mesh Fencing (456m perimeter) • Construction of Reinforced concrete ramp The construction period will be 12 months and a Defects Liability Period of Twelve Months (12) months. • Bidding will be conducted through open national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”” dated July 1st, 2016 revised November 2017, August 2018, November 2020 and September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. • Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from.

Late bids will be rejected • Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 15/02/2025. Electronic Bidding will be permitted. Bids must be encrypted using a password that will be provided by participating bidders on the date of the Bid opening.

Bids submitted after the deadline will be rejected.
