The Government of The Gambia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of The Gambia Resilience, Inclusion, Skills and Equity Project RISE and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Reprinting of Pupils Core Textbooks Grades 1 – 9 for the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MoBSE). 2. The Gambia Resilience, Inclusion, Skills and Equity Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for reprinting of Text Books services and delivery to the Regional Offices under MoBSE, The Gambia, in the following quantities: : 1,477,721 copies of Pupils’ Books - (Kanifing 225,405 copies, Brikama 530,564 copies, Sabinour 96,477 copies, Kerewan 169,464 copies, Mansakonko 78,537 copies, Janjaburreh 102,333 copies, Wassou 74,027 coies and Basse 170,918 copies to be procured in Two (2) indivisible lots. Bidders may Bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the Bidding Document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid. 4. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”, September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Central Project Coordination Unit, Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8.00 a.m. to 16.00 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays and 08:00am to 12:30 p.m. on Fridays. 6. The bidding document in English Language is free and will be transmitted to interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the email addresses below. The document will be sent by email. 7. Bids must be delivered eleatronically to the email address below on or before 1st April 2024. Electronic Bidding will be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below as well as virtually on 1st April 2024 at 12:30 GMT. 8. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration. 9. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document. 10.
