The Government of the Republic of Malawi has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Food Systems Resilience Program (FSRP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

The consulting services (“the Services”) include Consulting Services for the development of farming policy as individual consultant.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development now invites eligible and interest individuals to indicate their interest for consulting services. Interested individual consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The detailed Terms of Reference (TORs) for the assignment are available on the following website: www.agcom.gov.mw/downloads/tenders or can be obtained upon request to the following email address [email protected].

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” of February 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant (INDV) selection method set out in the Procurement Regulations.

Expressions of interest with a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) and copies of supporting qualification documents, including names of three traceable referees must be delivered in a written form to the address below (in person, or by mail, or by e-mail) NOT later than 24th April, 2026.
