• The Lilongwe District Council would like to procure works as specified above, and now invites sealed request for Quotations from eligible bidders.

• Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Request for Quotations (RFQ) procedures contained in the Public Procurement Law and Regulations of the Government of Malawi and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries. A bidder shall be required to obtain a certificate of registration from the National Construction Industry Council in a relevant category specified in the document demonstrating registered Contractor status for the works, as a condition of contract award.

• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Lilongwe District Council, Procurement Unit, email- [email protected] and inspect the request for quotation documents at the address given below at (6a) from 7:30 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 16:30 hours local time (Monday to Friday, except on national public holidays)

• A complete set of Request for quotation (RFQ) documents in English may be obtained by interested bidders for free at the address given below at (6b)

• Request for quotation must be delivered to the address below at 6(c) no later than 15th August, 2025 at 10:00hrs local time. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 6(d) at 10;00 Hours. Lilongwe District Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any other bid and may reject any or all of the bids
