29th JANUARY, 2026 • The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of Kenya Marine Fisheries and Socioeconomic Development Project (KEMFSED), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of 3 No. Longliner Offshore Fishing Boats. • The Fisheries and Blue Economy (County Department) now invite sealed bids from eligible Bidders for Supply and Delivery of 3 No. Longliner Offshore Fishing Boats. 3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers Fifth Edition September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. A complete set of bidding document in English may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders from our County government website at www.lamu.go.ke or at Public Procurement Information Portal http://tenders.go.ke. 6. Bids must be deposited into the tender box located on the Lamu Maritime training and Innovation Center located at the roundabout along Lamu port highway to be received on or before 19th February 2026 at 11.00 hrs. EAT (Local Time). The bids should be clearly marked ‘Supply and Delivery of 3 No. Longliner Offshore Fishing Boats, Tender No CGL/KEMFSED/RFB/02/2025-2026. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on 19th February 2026 at 11.00 hrs. EAT (Local Time). Electronic bids SHALL NOT be accepted. 7. All bids must be accompanied by bid security of, issued by a reputable Bank in Kenya shillings Two Million, Five Hundred Thousand (KES. 2,500,000) in Kenya Shillings Only which must remain in full force and effect up to and including 28 days after the date of expiration of the Bid validity. NB Insurance Bond will not be accepted. 8.
