• The Government of the Republic of Malawi has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Accelerating Sustainable and Clean Energy Access Transformation in Malawi (ASCENT) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract Supply and Delivery of Cables, Conductors and 10mm Single Core Copper Wire. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing. • The Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) Ltd now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply and Delivery of Line Hardware to be delivered to Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu.
