- The Government of Malawi has received additional financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Malawi COVID-19 Emergency Response & Health System Preparedness Project which is being implemented by Ministry of Health and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract Supply, Delivery, Housing Works, Installation and Commissioning of Medical Waste Incinerators.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (Procurement in Investment Project Financing – Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services; July 2016, revised November 2017, August 2018 and August 2020) and its open to all interested bidders.4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from address in 7(a) and inspect the Bidding Documents at that address from 8:00am to 4:00 pm local time from Monday to Friday during working days.5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders from the address in 7(a) and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of MK10,000.00. The method of payment will be Cash6. Bids must be valid for a period of Ninety (90) Calendar days and must be delivered in sealed envelopes to the address in 7(b) at or before at 14:00 hours local time on 22nd April, 2025. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
